One quiet morning last September, my phone showed me a message from my brother. “Yes!” – was written on the screen with neon green. Immediately I started to type back, asking -“Is it salad time?” That was our old siblings joke, question that I’ve periodically asked my brother when he got to a certain age. It was asked countless times, originally sounds like “When will I eat salads on your wedding?” But I always have got an answer like “It’s not the perfect time yet” or “I’m too young” or “I don’t think I’m ready yet” and so on and so forth. But now… oh, now I got a completely different answer. “February” – it reads.
So the time flew by very fast. I rushed to the stores in search of the gifts I will bring to my relatives. My closet was turned upside down several times while I was searching for the dress and shoes, and tried to decide if I need to buy a new one? But all that rushing and my fright of the flights was outweighed by the warm thoughts that I will soon take part in my dearest brother’s wedding.
The flight itself was pretty hard, especially with multiple stops. Also I missed a connection flight and had to wait in the airport for a couple of hours until the next one. All that – the waiting and the flights, summed up the travel time up to 24 hours. But the thought of the wedding kept me awake and gave me strength.
Because of the difficult flights and 11 hr time difference I was afraid that I will be exhausted and would fall asleep somewhere around evening. However, I was so excited and happy for my brother and his wife-to-be that I couldn’t stand long in one place. And that’s why when dancing started, I went to dance and even took part in rock-n-roll “marathon” that lasted about half an hour, the non-stop music fast.

So what can I say, the wedding was awesome and I enjoyed every second of it. I wish my brother and his very pretty wife a long and happy life together!!!
