Part 23 here
In the morning, after check-out from the hotel we went to the beach – Cape Canaveral National Seashore, where locals had advised us to go.
The weather forecast did say that there will be rain, but sky is blue, no clouds at all and the sun is very bright.
On our way we noticed an alligator, that looked just like a log from the distance. Didn’t pay attention to our car, he lazily swam on in it’s own alligator’s business.
Soon we noticed the parking lot and a wooden pathway that led to the beach, but ocean was still hidden behind the hill. Following the pathway we finally saw it, with green welcoming waves that were constantly moving.
Kids slowly came to the water, but were hesitating to enter it, remembering that Pacific Ocean is icy cold near the Oregon coast, and daddy with loud enthusiastic shout jumped into the incoming wave. After that kids decided to try the water and it was very warm.

Sun rays were very harsh, so despite that we’ve applied the sun screen, we got minor sunburns. That’s why we didn’t stay in the waves for too long. We decided to go to the cinema and watch the “Secret life of pets” instead. As soon as we redressed and sat in the car, the rain remembered that it was it’s day and started watering the surface. The rain was so thick we barely saw in front of us. Luckily it wasn’t long lasting rain and didn’t delayed us. By the way, the movie was awesome!
