Our Everyday Life

Graduation 2017

The end of the year was always a busy time, but this year was even more busier than ever. First it was a performance in Kate’s classroom, then Middle School graduation and Elementary School graduation. Add showcase week, and you can imagine how it was – daily “I will come later/leave earlier today” at work, driving here and there, redressing in a hurry, make-upping, hair-doing and so on, and so forth.

Kate was one of the Narrators.

Ira’s graduation from Middle School was on Thursday. It was pretty formal event – students came into the gym, than Principal said some words to them, school band and choir made a little performance. After that students were called in alphabetical order to get their certificates of completion. And in the very end everyone was invited to the cafeteria to have some very nice cake.

Pavlik’s graduation was on Friday. I like how they do it in our school. We knew that it will be Super Hero themed for the graduation (during Ira’s graduation it was a Wizard from Oz theme). Teachers, counselors and the Principal were wearing super hero costumes. Teachers were smiling with tears – they are going to miss their kids and they asked students to visit them during the year.

Tables were decorated with super heroes as well

And last was clap out – all 6-graders were running from their classrooms and other students, teachers and parents were clapping.
