After the football season comes the Fall Competitions season. This year, the Tidettes performed Contemporary and Modern routines.

Their first competition took place in Gladstone High school. The Tidettes took the first place for their Modern routine and third for Contemporary.
Next was the competition in Scappose. Again, it was a success, and they took first place for Contemporary and second for Modern

The scores for the Modern dance where high enough to be qualified for the Fall Championships, that took place in West Linn. The Tidettes took third place, and were .75 points away from second place, and only 1.3 from first. They performed so great that the whole crowd stayed silent and burst into wild applause only when girls left the gym. Some other coaches turned to the coaches of the Tidettes, proclaiming that that dance was the most beautiful thing they had seen.
